What My Clients Say
Bespoke Prevention and Rehabilitation
Helping You To Prevent
& Recover From Injuries

5 Steps To Your Recovery
1
Assess
Assessments identify how you're injured by analyzing your movement patterns, posture, and range of motion. They help pinpoint the cause of the injury, guiding targeted treatment and ensuring a more effective rehabilitation process for recovery.
2
Diagnose
After an injury assessment, we identify the problem and cause by analyzing test results, noting movement limitations, muscle imbalances, or joint restrictions, and linking them with the Clients symptoms and activity history.
3
Treatment
Massage and therapy techniques are an aid to recovery, promoting healing by increasing blood flow, reducing muscle tension, and improving flexibility. These methods target injured areas to alleviate pain and restore optimal function and mobility.
4
Correct
Creating a rehab plan using corrective exercises helps recovery by addressing muscle imbalances and movement dysfunctions. This targeted approach improves alignment, strengthens weak areas, enhances mobility, and promotes a more effective and efficient injury recovery.
5
Plan
You will be given a personalised plan using Rehab My Patient, allowing you to print it and watch exercise video clips.

Specialist Therapies
Helping you to Move better pain and injury free

Soft Tissue Massage
Soft tissue massage therapy targets deeper muscle layers and connective tissues to relieve tension, reduce muscle knots, and improve mobility.
It uses slow, firm pressure to address chronic pain, injury recovery, and muscle stiffness, enhancing overall well-being.

Functional Movement Assessment
Functional movement assessments analyze an individual’s ability to perform basic movement patterns, identifying limitations, imbalances, or weaknesses. This evaluation helps pinpoint areas needing improvement, reducing injury risk and optimizing performance through corrective exercises and personalized training plans.

Injury
Rehabilition
Injury rehabilitation focuses on restoring strength, flexibility, and function after injury. It involves personalized exercises, manual therapy, and recovery techniques to promote healing, prevent future injuries, and ensure a safe return to daily activities or sports performance.

Post
Operation
Rehabilitation after surgery aids recovery by restoring strength, flexibility, and mobility. It involves targeted exercises, pain management, and gradual progression to rebuild function, reduce scar tissue, and prevent complications, ensuring a smoother, quicker return to normal activities.

"I was recommended to book in with Boris after injuring my Achilles during a netball match. In my first session he assessed the injury to help pinpoint any muscle imbalances which contributed to my injury. He gave me treatment and sent me a detailed exercise plan to complete daily. I went back a week later and he did further assessments to determine whether I can return to running/netball. He has emailed me a further plan with advice on gradually introducing running and netball like exercises.
I would highly recommend booking your appointment to get your injuries and niggles sorted."

"Just wanted to say a big thank you to Boris.
Went for a 1 to 1 Stability and S&C training session this morning. In depth knowledge that Boris has really helped me focus on the basics and correct form. Essential to get this right from a 1 to 1 before moving onto more dynamic and loaded sessions. Thanks Boris

"I went to see Boris, as I was struggling with my neck and shoulders, due to spending long hours at a desk. Boris was able to assess my difficulties and treat me with some massages, but also gave me a rehab plan (daily exercises) which did the trick. Would highly recommend him!"

"I had a lovely surprise early this morning, after messaging Boris Stone (who has given me personal training and treatment in the past ) last night re an elbow injury... he took the time to video call me and gave me a free consultation. I was given some great advice and e mailed info on rehab exercises to help recovery.
Thank you Boris for taking the time to do this, so appreciative of this kind gesture xx"

This list is not exhaustive...
For the past 25 years, I have been helping clients with stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), brain injuries, and other neuromuscular conditions by focusing on restoring functional movement, improving strength, and enhancing balance.
Through tailored corrective exercises, I target specific muscle imbalances and coordination issues, helping clients regain mobility and independence. Manual therapy techniques help relieve muscle tightness and improve circulation, promoting healing and reducing pain.
Neuromuscular re-education retrains the brain and muscles to work together, which is crucial for clients recovering from neurological conditions. This comprehensive approach supports recovery, increases function, and improves overall quality of life.
